Here are some tried and true recipes that work with our new flour blends. Enjoy!

West Meadow White Bread
Ingredients Single loaf
Lois’s Bread Flour Blend 2 ½ cups
Yeast 1 Tbs
Eggs 2 ea
Canola Oil 3 Tbs
Warm Water 1 cup

Preheat oven 350*
1. Assemble ingredients
2. Combine the yeast and the warm water in a mixing bowl (make sure your water is not too hot. You want it just at room temperature.) Let sit about 30 seconds; it should be nice and foamy (you may add a pinch of sugar to feed the yeast).
3. Add the flour and mix until incorporated (about 30-45 seconds) on low speed.
4. Add your Eggs and the canola oil and mix on low speed for about 30 seconds. Scrape bowl and then mix on high speed for 3 ½ minutes.
5. Spray loaf pan with vegetable spray (like Pam) and pour dough into pan (the dough will look more like a batter, that is normal.)
6. Let proof for about 15-30 min it mounds just above edge of the pan
7. Then bake for 35 minutes.

Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients 3 ½ dozen
Kari’s Pastry Flour Blend 2 ¼ Cups
Baking Powder 1 tsp
Baking Soda 1 tsp
Salt ½ tsp
Butter ¾ cup
Brown Sugar ¾ cup
Eggs 2 each
Vanilla 2 tsp
Chocolate Chips 2 cups

Preheat oven to 325*
1.) Assemble ingredients
2.) Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl. Set aside.
3.) Combine butter, brown sugar in mixing bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla. Continue beating, scraping bowl often, until well mixed.
4.) Reduce speed to low, gradually add flour mixture until well mixed. Stir in chocolate chips.
5.) Portion dough into 1 oz balls. Refrigerating overnight helps the baking
6.) Bake 9-12 mins

Ingredients About 6 Waffles
Dillon’s All Purpose Flour 1 ¾ cups
Baking Powder 1 Tbsp
Sugar 1 Tbsp
Salt 1/2 tsp
Egg 3 each
Milk 1 ½ cups
Butter (melted) 8 Tbsp or 1stick

Preheat waffle iron
1. Assemble ingredients
2. In a bowl mix together the flour, baking powder, sugar, salt
3. In another bowl mix the eggs, melted butter, and milk.
4. Make a well in the center of the dry flour mix and pour the egg mix in the well.
5. Mix until smooth
6. Pour ½ cup of the batter in to the center of your waffle iron. Leave about ¼ of a inch the edge.
7. Close lid and bake until golden brown.
